The Friends Board meets on the first Monday of each month except June and July at 3:30 p.m. You are invited to the Friends Annual Meeting on Saturday, February 11 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fisher Center. The event will include a program by Lads and Lassies, a short business meeting, and refreshments.

The Friends raises money:
- to help with Library projects through its used book sales, membership dues, Valentine “Sweetheart Night Out” fundraiser, and donations.
The Friends provide funding:
- for Books for Babies, Kansas TALK programs, Kansas Reads to Preschoolers, Summer Reading Program, Sunflower Journeys video series, and more!
The Friends donate:
- Library book bags to civic organizations.
The Friends volunteer:
- for the Annual Spring Tea, book sale, and special programs at the Library.
