Hiawatha’s Morrill Public Library finished its remodel last year and we invite you to stop in and see the wonderful changes!

The library’s 30 year old elevator was not included in the remodel, but it has unfortunately started to wear down and will soon need to be completely replaced. The estimated cost of this modernization is $90,000. The Friends of the Library have already raised $10,000, but we need your help to fund the rest!

The Friends are a member of the Hiawatha Community Foundation, which is holding their Match Days event on May 27 and 28. The Foundation will match dollar for dollar up to a total of $2,000 per organization. You can give a donation in person at the Fisher Center during the event or online any time those two days, plus other options you can learn about on their website.
